People are searching for a home where they can live comfortably and raise families. Studio 8 Design Architects specializes in the design of affordable housing. We work hand in hand with developers throughout Georgia and the southeast to design multifamily housing complexes where families and seniors can thrive. Our designs include attractive apartment complexes with a variety of amenities including pools, playgrounds, community gardens, picnic pavilions, computer centers, libraries, walking trails, and fitness centers.  

Studio 8 Design works with our clients through all stages of affordable housing programs including ADA assessments, application, design, and construction administration. We have the expertise to produce work that complies with tax incentive programs administered and funded by State and Federal agencies including HUD and USDA Rural Development.

Our experience also includes Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversions for Public Housing Authorities. In fact, our team recently completed the second largest RAD project in the country. Our projects have received awards for sustainable design, and we specialize in all areas of housing accessibility including retrofit/renovation, adaptive reuse (including historic), and new construction work.

Our Affordable Housing team has completed over 5,000 units in Georgia and the Southeast enabling our clients to achieve their goals of providing well-designed, attractive affordable housing to families and seniors.
