Bear Creek Village Apartments

ADEL, GA - Studio 8 provided comprehensive architectural, engineering and construction administration for this new affordable housing complex located in Adel. Adel is the county seat of Cook County in southern central Georgia. The property is located in a USDA designated rural area. The new community is situated on approximately 13 acres.

The project design includes two-story residential buildings and an attractive clubhouse / community building. The property consists of one, two, and three bedroom units. Each unit offers ceiling fans, a full kitchen appliance package, and individual washer and dryer hookups.  The clubhouse complements the new development and includes a computer center with internet access and laundry facilities. The property features many outdoor amenities including a recreation area, covered pavilions and picnic areas, and a playground. The site has ample green space and natural preservation areas oriented toward the eastern side of the property that enhances the residents' overall living experience.

The project was designed to obtain Southface Institute's EarthCraft Multifamily Building Certification. The project brings a newly constructed  affordable housing option to the residents of Adel.
