VALDOSTA, GA - Studio 8 provided design and construction administration for the transformation of a 19,781 SF existing building into two separate businesses – Thomas Collision Center and Dr. Carly Thomas, DDS. The existing structure was previously a car dealership which had been vacated. The husband-wife owners purchased the property with the intention of completely renovating and re-branding the building to reflect their businesses. The project allowed the owners to successfully achieve their vision for each of their businesses.
The building’s exterior design reflects a modern aesthetic with sleek, pre-finished, ShadowRib™ panels and Aluminum Composite Panels, pre-finished aluminum canopies, and aluminum overhead glass doors. The interior of both businesses also reflects a modern design.
Thomas Collision is the premier auto paint and body shop in the region and occupies 14,130 SF of the building which includes a 1,134 SF lobby/showroom, 1,600 SF of lobby/office area, and a 10,500 SF repair warehouse with paint booths.
Dr. Carly Thomas, DDS specializes in pediatric dentistry and occupies 1,199 SF of the building including 354 SF of lobby/reception area, 540 SF of office area, 340 SF of lab/surgical suite, and 232 SF of treatment area. The building also includes 3,740 SF of space available for leasing.
